Nota Bene: I have several unfinished projects. I’m too impatient, I want anything to be made quick, and ‘quick’ never works with ‘really fine’. So I have to remind you that most of the stuff I post here is SKETCHES. And, again – don’t throw things at me for leaving blank eyes, it’s just my personal issue. Thankyouverymuch, passing to the actual comment…
People on Tumblr used to have jokes about agent Coulson aka son of Cool Coul being capable of murder via manila folder. What can I say… PEOPLE, DON’T KID WITH THIS MAN. Most of you have already seen “A Funny Thing That Happened On The Way to Thor’s Hammer”. Excuse my caps lock, but HE POLITELY DISABLES ARMED DUDES WITH A PACK OF FLOUR. And doughnuts… they practically represent his dangerous ambivalence (dark, light… whatever, BOTH!))) I couldn’t resist, okay?! I just had to make this one. A quick doodle, yes, but I needed to share the idea.))
Also, Loki & kittens… ASSEMBLE.
The music I share in this very case is relevant, again…
Take the following as a long and thoughtful foreword to a simple statement. Somehow (after painting him and following his twitter for a while) I started to see Clark Gregg (note: NOT Coulson) not just as an image, or a character, or a face which is interesting to capture; it’s a person, who does his job eagerly and LOVES IT. That is the strongest charm of all. And, on the one hand, I don’t want to disturb this person with unneeded attention; while, on the other… I’ve already told you a couple of times that I can’t stop painting as long as I breathe - and he is SUCH a joy to portray, believe me.
Here, I finally shut up and give you the facts: I came across this shot from San Diego’s Comic Con few days ago. And I want to share it here for two reasons. THE LOOK. And THE BADGE. In fact, I often doubt that such genuine affection to the fandom exists at all. But it does. And we are so damn lucky to have this guy within this fandom.))
A thousand times, yes.
To have someone involved in these movies and show such love for the characters, such respect for the fans, and such enthusiasm for the world, this fandom could not be luckier. I’ve never seen a fandom that had so much love and respect for its fans, and this man is the center of that.
That awesome moment when Clark Gregg retweets my Agent Coulson is my Homeboy graphic. Oh my god, this seriously made my year. Here’s the graphic if you want to reblog it. (Sorry, I blocked out my twitter username) :P
